![]() ![]() Run the older version of Pages and change the Preferences to insert equations from MathType.I recommend putting it anywhere other than Applications I put it on the Desktop when I worked through these steps. You can always get 7.2 from the App Store again once these steps are complete. If you do, or if the download doesn't give you any other option, that's OK. You don't need to install this version of Pages.Time Machine is an option, but not everyone (myself included) uses TM. ![]() ![]() Apple doesn't make earlier versions available, and 3rd party sites are quite often shady, and most of the others merely link to the App Store. Trouble with this step is finding some place to download it from. I tried it with 5.2.2, but I imagine anything from 5.0 through 7.1 will work. I'll spare all the why & wherefore, but do this to get it working. There's nothing we can do about that except by way of permanent workaround (meaning that you have to do something once, and the fix is as permanent as Apple's future updates allow it to be). The short of it is that the combination of Mojave and Pages 7.2 doesn't work with MathType. Thus, this was a logical first place to ask. In this case you didn't know if it was Pages causing the issue, or Mojave, or MathType. Viking gave some advice that's always a good idea - contact the vendor (that's me/us) for support. ![]()
